A floor is only as good as its preparation. Our five-stage process puts as much care into what you don’t see as what you do.
We assess the subfloor, moisture levels and existing finishes. We measure carefully and discuss how the floor needs to perform — pets, kids, underfloor heating, all of it.
Large samples of every species and finish, viewed in your light. We recommend a shortlist, then refine to one. No guessing from photographs.
The hidden half of the job. We level, dry and prime the substrate so the visible floor sits flat, quiet and stable for the long term.
Boards or slabs laid by the same craftsmen every time. Setting-out drawn in advance, expansion joints respected, every cut considered.
Sanding to fine grit, staining if required, then a hard-wax oil or matte lacquer applied in multiple coats. We leave you with care kits and clear instructions.
